@ anonymous: are you the taper? If so, I'll remove the gig if you want me to. I'm just sharing stuff from Dime here, so I wouldn't call it stealing, because what people at Dime are doing is sharing. Not everyone has an account at Dime, and therefore I'm trying to make some of the gigs posted there available to all. In the info I've stated that most gigs posted here are from Dime, and when I post a gig I write who taped/recorded it (if that information is available). So, I'm afraid I can't see what the problem is.
The "problem" is that you're converting my recordings to mp3. I'm indeed the taper of those Triffids and David McComb shows and don't like them converted to mp3. I took great care in taping and uploading decent quality concert recordings. I don't like seeing inferior copies circulating. If you would keep the files in flac format that would be fine. Getting an account on Dime is rather easy. With over 110,000 members it takes only a few days before a new account becomes available.
Okay, I understand. I'll remove the links to the mp3 versions, and instead upload your flac files.
